Cultures and Colors 2010

by Idil Cilingiroglu

Like colors, every culture has its own individual character that differs it from the others. Yet the importance of communication and cooperation in the making of a truly positive difference is universal. My design aims to illustrate the power of this collective act of understanding. Here, colors symbolize different cultures. Rings of random colors come from all directions and collect around a central point, emphasizing it, making it the target. The harmonious formation of rings proves a mutual understanding. As more colors add on, an even greater and more powerful whole will be created.
