During my process, I struggled with ways to create a logo which had the following traits: creativity, implied construction, cohesiveness but with a flair of distinctiveness. Without those things, I didn't think the logo would carry much weight. After all, the DREAM anagram stood for five disciplines in the creative fields. Fields that future generations would build lessons and grow from.
After playing around with many different types of materials, I began constructing letterforms with thin strips of paper. The paper letterforms became the inspiration to creating the final DREAM Center logo. The end result is a mark that I hope to be distinct in typographic form and dimensionality while being easily applied across different mediums and products.
