DREAM Waves

by Victor Ahlm
Co-authors:

When contemplating the goal and purpose of the DREAM center I tried to find a simple way of communicating the 5 disciplines integrated in the anagram DREAM. To me, the connection was clear: Waves.
Dancing; feeling the beat, interacting with music, whether it's only a simple drum or a symphony orchestra, the beat and pace will guide you. The beat has a frequency, intensity and velocity, a wave.
Reading is all about seeing the meaning behind words, deciphering symbols and decoding them into something understandable. Using your brain waves.
Expression; communication; interaction; It's all made possible through electromagnetic waves or sound waves. A wave of stimuli.
Art is about expressing yourself without limitations, finding your own way of communication. The things you cannot describe with words. The natural wave.
Music could not exist without air and the sound waves propagating throughout the blue atmosphere.
The wave is one of the fundamental elements on our planet and it is every child's right to be able to explore and create their own waves and to share them with this world. Waves are not bound to any religion, heritage, culture or history. The wave is universal.
