Happiness: the Tribute 21 Plate Challenge

happy flowers

by Stasia Burrington

All happiness comes from giving and sharing experience; it can’t exist in isolation. The cupped hands are both giving and receiving, caring for and protecting the small and vulnerable. Seeing others and our surroundings flourish and prosper is the greatest we can wish for. The flowers on the arms are a mark showing that flower and person are of the same precious, physical matter that we need to nurture: so as we care and awe over the beauty of the flowers, we should protect the beauty that is in others.
