I began this logo by simplifying the human figure, reducing it to a curved “v” toped with a circle. I wanted to use the “v” points as hands that would be touching each other. I played around with the shape I had created, and in the end a repeating circular pattern seemed to result in a very interesting way. I used a 3 blue tone gradient to unify the human figures. With this logo’s shape I hope to pass a message of reunion, understanding, acceptance, goals that I think that the International Festival of Cultural Diversity events will have in mind.
