Think of a brown egg among a whole tray of white ones. That's the concept behind DOTS.
By having at least ONE different object amongst a group, diversity is possible.
I chose the circle as THE element, organic, pure, "friendly" (could be an abstract representation of the "world") By changing colors, or changing white to black, diversity is possible.
I wanted simplicity and "lightness" in this logo. I didn't want just a logo summing up different activities, but ONE whole concept representing DIVERSITY.
It is a festival that represents culture diversity, and thus it MUST be colorful.
Dots can be printed in many ways. As texture, openwork with textures from behind, etc.
-It is recommended to watch de logo animation in a loop.
-the B&W is a positive-negative image, so the blank actually is the positive-negative circle.
