2009 International Mother Language Day - Keep on communicating!
My design is a mouth with the world in the middle that represents by speaking and learning different languages can help to preserve knowledge and culture around the world, and also encourage communication and understanding between people from different background. The shape of the mouth is made up from the word LANGUAGE from different languages that further emphasis the purpose of International Mother Language Day. The background of the poster is filled with dialogues symbol with different colours that represent different languages that are being spoken around the world at this second. I also highlight that learning languages can be done through more reading, hearing and speaking the language.
