This poster design is intended as an eye-catching and amusing presentation of the pleasure and excitement of language. Letters and punctuation marks replicate a laughing face, or a pair of talking heads, and the angled text conveys the unexpected, intersecting nature of conversation.
The choice of colour is intended to provide a bold contrast for the text and to attract the eye without appearing harsh. I have offered a choice between a soft colour background and a more immediately striking alternative.
