This concept highights the idea of languages being a cultural mosaic as represented through the different colour blocks. The colours blending into one another signify a type of cultural merging or globalization.
However, through this blending there is still a distinct representation of the two colours coming together, meaning that despite a so-called cultural melting pot that we are faced with in a time of globalization, language still and must remain an important factor of one's cultural roots.
