Deeply embedded in every language is an expansive expression of a culture. Beneath the thousands of words for 'yes' and 'no' and 'speak,' we find complex histories, mythologies, instructions for carrying on as humans. The letter-forms that we use to record and share our thoughts, stories and ideas with each other have been abstracted and collaged to visualize the idea that language unites us in our desire to communicate.
