LANGUAGES MATTER! A UNESCO poster competition

International Mother's Day Poster - UNESCO

by Casey Coyle

I created this poster based on the idea that "Languages are essential to the identity of groups". I used different font treatments to represent the different languages and multilingualism as well as the speech bubble as a key idea to symbolize communication.

The fuchsia and tan color scheme of the poster signify the importance of the "Mother" female influence and the tan infuses the idea of the "roots" of language.
