Language is a Flower*

by martin prijatna

Aloha! Namaste! Ohayou gozaimasu!

Language is something that we have to nourish from time to time. The world is becoming more diverse and language is an absolute key to unite people.

The flower is to describe something beautiful that has to be nourished everyday. Besides, the flower is also a congratulatory symbol for the the celebration of the event.

The word 'hello' is the simplest form of language that can connect people. In the upcoming 'International Mother Language Day', this poster is hoping to inspire people to learn simple words everyday such as 'bonjour' , 'salam' or 'ni hao' in order to nourish the existing languages and connect us to the rest of the world.

Happy International Mother Language Day!
