The first significant linguistic sound produced by human being is something like '[ma:]' sound, then we develop it to something unique to designate our mother, for instance 'momma', 'mom' and 'mommy' in english. Besides english most of languages have very similar sound as [ma:] in the sound designating their mother. We have homogeneousness as a human being as well as individuality based on each cultural background. If we have another point of view, this difference comes from our sameness. Cultural difference does not mean that we are basically different from others but mean we are the uniques can express our identity lively. Including linguistic diversity, cultural diversity should be encouraged for our liveness. I designed this poster in expecting that International Mother Language Day extends our diversity more vividly.
