Geared towards spreading environmental responsibility, the themes of these ads were to remain simple, positive, and heartfelt. The purpose of the tree caricatures was to play off the term “treehugger”. What if the roles were reversed and trees became personified to show their appreciation? In relation to the campaign, the trees are targeting people who have purchased FCS-certified products.
