WOOD, PAPER, CHECKMARK: design an awareness campaign for sustainable forestry

Aim of this entry is to raise awareness of the fact that we are surrounded by products that come from forests, from wood to fibers, from paper and magazines to furniture, from gum resins to cellulose. The idea is to create an image of a tree using wood by-products, in order to inform people that we are all consumers of forests through every day objects that we often do not think about the origin of and in order to remind that we have to be responsible and make sure that the products we buy come from responsibly managed forests. It would be good to create many ‘product-trees’ using the layout shown for the five products chosen as examples for the entry, either for the big or the small printed ads (a tyre, a chewing-gum, a guitar, a drawer, some newspapers).
