Good Feelings

In the Wood, Paper, Checkmark design competition my objective is to communicate the good feeling received by playing an active role in helping to protect forests around the world. To accomplish this I have centered my message on basic daily activities such as sitting in a nice chair and eating at a nice table. The reader is asked to acknowledge the fact that a seat or a meal is that much more enjoyable when we know the chair or table we’re sitting at helps other people in the world receive their livelihoods and sustenance. The repeating image of the smile helps to push my message in a clear and effective way. My call to action further implements the fact that some purchases can be more beneficial than others.
