I wanted to visually explore what the G8 Environmental Ministers Meeting means in regard to the environment. Trees, birds, land animals and sea creatures are colored in red to represent the danger they all face if we don't address the issues as soon as possible. The city of Kobe is outlined into the background, which is green and a bright burning sun behind the skyline is representative of global warming. I chose to keep the furoshiki text-less so that it's message would translate in every language.
