The 4Rs

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover.

Our modern society is growing rapidly and along with it grows the amount of waste we produce. The idea of Furoshiki is quite simple – you can reuse it over and over, thus reducing the amount of plastic bags, wraps and other covers thrown away daily.
We base the design of our Furoshiki on this concept – you can Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover as a way of life.

We would like to encourage people to use the Furoshiki on a daily basis so we created a modern, young print that can suit today’s lifestyle. It also embodies the meaning of the object - Re-cover.

Out inspiration for the inner side of the Furoshiki was a pile of dry leaves about to be thrown away. We turned this waste into a part of our creative process.

Who is there to say what can we use and what can we loose?
So - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover.
