Simple Folds: Bold Changes

by Pat Crawford
Co-authors: Pat Crawford, Tracy Crawford

The cloth design concept is: simplicity bringing about bold changes. While the design is simple, the folds bring out the variations. This represents the multitude of potential outcomes of the G8 as many minds come together over common environmental issues. The design allows for flexibility of placement and showcasing the City of Kobe and G8 Environmental Ministers Meeting logos. The design represents the host city environment and the G8 theme through material and colors. The cloth is unbleached white cotton (sacred and home) with red (energy), and green (nature). The Kobe and G8 logos bring in the blue (water and life).
