This bike incorporates kinetic energy which is used or stored for later use. The battery is concealed within the bike frame. The primary functions of the kinetic energy store is to power the lights that are part of the flowing framed structure. The secondary function of the kinetic energy store is to allow users to charge their high tech gadgets with the bikes powers source via a USB port within the frame. The hand grips are also heated for winter journeys to allow for more comfort, this function can be controlled. All of this can be achieved through the power of pedalling. The user pedals and charges the energy storage unit, the energy can be used at the time or a later time.

The frame is made from carbon fibre to reduce the weight of the bike and allow easy movement for the users. Within the bike frame there is a store for mobile phones, ipod’s and water proof clothing such as jackets, trousers. A carbon fibre frame will help increase bike performance for the more experienced users.

I have incorporated lights into the bike as it is intend for road use and so being seen is essential for safety. Lights have been included on the front back and side of the bike to increase awareness and be seen by vehicle users.

I have designed this bicycle with technology in mind because in today’s world we never venture far from it and so this bike will help aid technology by giving technology its battery life while on the move and from a reliable source of energy.
