EXPRESS IT !
Everyday the world is rapidly shrinking, getting boundary-less. People are traveling for need, fun and knowledge. Why not the message? Why limit to one form of media? As it flows, so would be the awareness and sense. This concept inspired me to use clothing as a canvass.
Attire bores an impact on the surroundings. It is fashion that made hippies to rule the world; Elvis and Beatles to have an exemplary impact. Fashion has and always will be a primary form of expressionism. I want my expressions to be direct so that they reach to masses, flawlessly. I want it to set a wave of transformation, direct yet simple.
Earth is getting polluted everyday by the rising CO2 content released by the tall chimneys and increasing vehicles on roads. This is a major cause of ozone depletion in the atmosphere. This is exposing Earth to the harmful UV rays which can have a devastating effect on health, atmosphere and life forms. Also, by the increasing heat, glaciers are melting rapidly thus causing a permanent change in environment.
The lower portion of the T-shirt shows the increase in water level because of melting polar caps by increase in heat. It also has the buildings of world heritage and importance signifying the global impact on the life form. The middle portion signifies the increasing outburst of CO2 and CO content by the increasing factories and vehicles. It signifies the effect on the air that we breathe. Additionally, the top portion signifies the ozone depletion as a result of increasing gases.
