The following clip is one of the two examples of an introduction video for the Summer Olympics of 2028. The clip shows how the organization has reacted to the environmental problems that have reached their critical level by then.

In this clip they initiated sustainable development long before the actual need arose, this made them more prepared for the situation.

In the other clip they tried to keep doing what they always did, making a huge event of it again, but with some last minute changes to make it possible.

What counts for the Olympics also counts of other large events, for example the world championship football and Formula 1. All these events require large amounts of resources and a lot of traveling. Making them more sustainable not only improves their impact, but also has a positive effect on people and companies all over the world, as these events have a huge exemplary function.

The clips uses Amsterdam as organizing city because it is one of the cities competing for the organization of the summer Olympics in 2028, since they also organized it hundred years earlier in 1928.

The animation is based on the works of Italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli known for his series of short animated cartoons, La Linea. Check it out.
