Copse Coffee Table

Inspired by the linear layered patterns created by tree trunks in a forest setting we have reinterpreted this beauty to form “Copse coffee table”. The product shows the wood from all angles showcasing the natural beauty of the material and the engineered aesthetic of the ply. The slats act as a framework to display the white maple veneer on top of the skeletal structure. The aesthetic mirrors the material, the shapes have the fluid forms found in patterns of woodgrain and the slicing is a textured interpretation of the striped layers of the ply.
