After designing a few spagetti-like, woven chairs, I decided to design a desk of simple form and character. Its top a combination of face and edge, the desk aims to splice together the two surfaces that define plywood.
Two pairs of legs support the smooth face of the writing desk. From this, plywood edges weave through one and another, both supporting and hanging from the main desk. In the interval spaces, a drawer and shelf are held together through angled "shims" cut from the 4' x 8' sheet.
