The proposed installation takes advantage of the variety of uses with laminated wood, displaying a few in a transition from base to top. It is intended to be positioned in a public place that receives high levels of pedestrian traffic where observers would have a chance to see and touch the material. Ambiguous in form, observers have the opportunity to develop an opinion of the piece, the material, and of course, the source.
