This table is cut from a flat stock 4'x8'x1" sheet of FSC plywood. The design makes maximun use of the stock sheet. No fasteners needed. The 2 pedestal halves intelock to create a cruciform base. The pedestal halves are carved out to provide ample knee space. The underside of the table top is routed to accommodate and engage the top of the perdestal. Once in place, the top secures the base (pedestal) from movement. Voila!
