Since the emphasis is on the use of a single piece PlyWood material, I have designed a chair produced in just two steps - production process:
Step one of the production process is cutting of the suitable PlyWood material which, is in this case, just 10mm thick (after a prototype has been made we will know whether the material should be thicker for stability purposes). The cutting is done fast, one piece at a time on a computer-controlled WaterCut system producing identical pieces within a batch.
Step two and the final step is bending on two points in a mold with vapor, giving the chair its ultimate 3D shape, and that's all.
What remains is to apply a colorless coating which is not made from unstabile organic compounds.
This is how a chair is made from natural materials and respecting the FSC standard in just two production steps, taking little time to complete and requiring no additional assembly which slows down and increases the cost of the production process, and most importantly with no metal parts, fast, and cheap.
Suitable for production in small as well as large batches. As shown, there are no additional parts, the chair is made from a single piece of select PlyWood material, thus avoiding assembly althogether making the production process cheaper and faster.
