This entry encompasses multiple facets of the conference. The trees not only represent the environment, but are inspired by the cherry tree, which is native to Kobe. The different colors of the trees show life passing through stages, much like the seasons. The center design represents the eight countries participating in the conference, each supported by the next, working in unity to resolve these worldwide issues
