Towards an infinite world at The City of Kobe

It is not very easy to summarize something so vaste as the environment. So, I decided to concentrate on, what I think, is in fact the objective: towards an infinite world (here infinite has multiple meanings: time, biodiversity, natural resources, etc), and play with the fact that the symbol for infinity, when upwards, can be read as an 8 (the eight countries constituing G8).

The symbol of infinity is placed in the center of a circle (meaning the Earth) with different orientations so that from every side of the cloth one can view it, as well as the number 8.

There are exactly 8 of these circles arranged in such a way to leave free a corner of the cloth, where it is made a direct reference to the City of Kobe together with another reference to infinite, writing the year as 2∞8.

I used only three colors for the obvious reasons: green (forest), blue (water) and brown (soil).
